Born & Residing in Quebec City I have dedicated my life to painting since 1992

Between reality and imaginary, I explore a world where characters are at the center of my artworks. My universe moves around symbolism and fantasy. The singularity of human, nature, and feelings have always an endless fountain of inspiration for me.

Since my early childhood, the drawing is my sap. My drive for painting leads me to make my own learning. Experimenting through my path, old techniques prove to be fascinating for the details, wealth of material and color depth. They give me the array of possibilities I’m looking for. Drawing and oil painting are my preferred mediums. They are intimately linked.

I draw from models for the portrait and the human body. I sometimes wear coats and draped. These ones are a precious help for the achievement of my work, however, the conception always emanates from imagination and inner reflexion.
